Meta Connect 2023 Event: Meta, in collaboration with iconic eyewear brand Ray-Ban, has announced the launch of the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses.
Revealed alongside the Meta Quest 3 and other impressive products, these smart glasses offer various features and a sleek design that sets them apart in the market.
One of the standout features of the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses is the ability to livestream videos directly to Facebook and Instagram.
Users can now share their experiences in real time, hands-free. This hands-free live-streaming feature offers a new level of convenience and freedom for users to capture and share their world with friends and followers.
Equipped with a 12-megapixel camera sensor and an LED unit, the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses offer high-quality photo and video capabilities.
Users can capture photos with a resolution of 3,024 x 4,032 pixels and record 1080p videos for up to 60 seconds. These media files can then be shared seamlessly using the Meta View app.
In addition, the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses boast a dual open-ear speaker system, delivering 50 percent louder sound, deeper bass, and improved clarity compared to its predecessor, Ray-Ban Stories.
The new design also minimises audio leakage, providing a more immersive audio experience.
The Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses feature a stylish and sleek design, designed to appeal to fashion-conscious users.
Available in 150 different custom frame and lens design combinations, users have plenty of options to choose from to suit their personal style.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform SoC, these smart glasses offer fast and efficient performance.
With 32GB of inbuilt storage, users can store their photos, videos, and other media files conveniently.
The glasses come with up to four hours of battery life and can be charged within 75 minutes. Additionally, the charging case provides an additional 32 hours of battery life, ensuring users can use the glasses throughout the day without worrying about running out of power.
The Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses are currently available for pre-orders in 15 countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, and various European markets.
The official sale will kick off on October 17 in these regions. However, the Indian launch date has not been disclosed by Meta at this time.
