Redmi’s K-series has returned to India with the new K50i.
The base 6GB + 128GB model of the phone is priced at ₹25,999, while the higher 8GB + 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹28,999.
It will be available for purchase from July 23, on Amazon, Mi.com, and offline stores.
The Redmi K50i 5G runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12. It has a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 270Hz. The display boasts a peak brightness of 650 nits.
The Redmi smartphone features an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. For thermal control, Liquid Cooling 2.0 technology features a vapour cooling chamber.
The Redmi K50i features a triple rear camera configuration with a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 primary sensor. There is also an ultra-wide angle camera with 8MP resolution and a macro camera with 2MP resolution.
There is a 16MP sensor with f/2.45 aperture lens on the front of the device.
The Redmi K50i 5G includes twin stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 5,080mAh battery that supports 67W rapid charging. It has an IP53 rating for protection from dust and water.
