Reliance has launched JioTag, a Bluetooth tracker like Apple’s AirTag in India. Priced at ₹2,199, it undercuts Apple's offering by half and is available for a limited time at under ₹1,000. The lightweight device connects to the JioThings app, allowing users to track their personal items like wallets and handbags. It comes with a replaceable CR2032 battery that can run for almost 1 full year and has a range of up to 20 metres indoors and 50 metres outdoors using Bluetooth 5.1. JioTag can also help locate misplaced smartphones by double-tapping the device to make the phone ring, even in silent mode. Additionally, JioTag offers the unique Jio Community Find feature, enabling users to mark the device as lost in the app and receive help from the Jio community to locate it. Interested buyers can purchase JioTag from the official Jio website.
