According to a new report, the use of ChatGPT-related scams is surging, with scammers using fraudulent websites to claim users need to pay for services.

The risk goes beyond financial fraud, with the possibility of sensitive and confidential data being collected.

Since November 2022, there has been a 910 percent increase in monthly registrations for domains related to ChatGPT, with nearly 18,000 percent growth of squatting domains.

Researchers advise users to exercise caution with suspicious links and only access ChatGPT from the official OpenAI website.
