WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature to allow users to mute calls from unknown numbers.
The new feature called "Silence Unknown Callers" is aimed at reducing spam calls that have interrupted people's usage on the app. The feature, which is currently in beta testing, could also potentially help curb spam messages too.
The toggle, located in the app's settings once enabled, will silence unknown phone numbers leaving them still in the call logs and notification lists.
