Xiaomi has confirmed the Smarter Living 2024 event, with a new page sharing the details, albeit with oodles of suspense. Scheduled for April 23, the event will be taking place in India, and introduce new Xiaomi products aimed at enhancing smarter living through technology.
Based on the details officially revealed and speculations and rumors from around the industry, here’s all we know about the upcoming Smarter Living event.
A page dedicated to the Smarter Living event is now available. It reveals 23rd April as the D-Day for the launch of 4 different products. Xiaomi has been teasing these products in India, with the Redmi Pad SE revealed. There are placeholders for three other products now blurred out. These products will subsequently be revealed in the days leading up to the event.
The second product to be showcased at the Smarter Living event will be announced on 17th April, the third on 18th, and the 4th on 19th April.
According to the speculations, rumors, and Xiaomi’s teases from around the world, these products could include a robot vacuum mop, TWS earphones, and a hairdryer, beyond the Redmi Pad SE tablet. The details of the Redmi Pad SE are now available on its dedicated microsite.
The Redmi Pad SE is poised to make its India launch, after its initial debut in Europe in 2023. This device boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and comes with options up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It features an 11-inch full-HD+ LCD screen and is powered by an 8000mAh battery, supporting 10W USB Type-C charging.
The anticipated TWS earphones are speculated to be the Redmi Buds 5 Pro. These earphones are designed to offer high-quality audio enhanced with active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 46dB, and up to 38 hours of battery life, ensuring a seamless audio experience for users.
The robot vacuum mop is part of Xiaomi's expansion into home appliances, expected to feature self-cleaning technology that enhances ease of use and efficiency in household cleaning tasks.
