Zoom has made an undisclosed investment in Anthropic, an AI start-up with plans to incorporate its technology into Zoom's video-conferencing platform. This strategic move demonstrates Zoom's ongoing commitment to enhancing its offerings with AI as it competes with Microsoft Teams. Anthropic's large language model, Claude, which directly competes with OpenAI's ChatGPT, will be integrated into Zoom's platform. Similar to ChatGPT, Claude can generate human-like text responses and will initially be added to Zoom's Contact Center service for call centres.
