The sour ties between RJD chief Lalu's sons came to fore when his elder son Tej Pratap suggested that Lalu is being kept hostage in Delhi long after his release from the prison.
Taking an indirect dig at younger brother Tejashwi, who runs party affairs, Tej Pratap further added that some people are trying to ‘usurp’ the post of the party's president.
Snubbing the comments, Tejashwi said that living like a hostage does not fit in with the personality of RJD chief and he cannot be kept under any influence.
Tej Pratap has been at loggerheads with his younger brother and party’s state president Jagdanand Singh apparently over his diminishing clout in the party.
