Terror on tape: CCTV captures attackers in Kandahar blast

Four days after a Shiite mosque was attacked by suicide bombers in southern Afghan city of Kandahar, a security footage has emerged which shows the moment of the attack.

As per AP report, the attack, which took place on Friday killed at least 47 people and wounded 70 others, for which the Islamic State took the responsibility.

In the new CCTV video that was released, the attackers are holding weapons as they enter the mosque. Another camera shows worshippers inside running away before an explosion engulfs the building.

Earlier, a similar blast at a Shiite mosque rocked the northern city of Kunduz in which many worshippers died.
