Netflix has said that it has 'no plans' to add a disclaimer in the beginning of the episodes of its hit series 'The Crown'.

The streaming giants stated that its lavish drama about Britain’s royal family is a work of fiction which is broadly based on the historical events.

The statement comes after Netflix was questioned for the show's historical inaccuracies and was urged by British Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden to add a disclaimer.
