Located in the Bastar district of Chattisgarh on the Indravati River, the Chitrakoot Falls display natural beauty in all its glory. Deemed as the Niagara Falls in India, it is the widest waterfall in the country. It falls from a height of about 95 feet and is almost as wide as 300 meters, which is one-third of the glorious Niagara Falls. The monsoon months from July to September are the best to visit the glorious Chitrakoot Waterfalls. You can take a boat ride around the bottom of the falls to witness the gushing water up close.
