In a statement, Manchester United said that all the paperwork over Rangnick's appointment has been completed now & he will start his work with the team. Rangnick's appointment came after Ole Gunner Solskjaer was sacked by the board owing to the team's continuous poor show in the Premier League.
Interim manager and Ole's former assistant Michael Carrick has now stepped down after winning against Arsenal clearing the way for the German manager to take charge.
