The world is 'watching' Kim Jong Un's weight, literally!

North Korea's Kim Jong Un is watching his weight these day. And clearest cue came this week from his $12,000 Swiss timepiece.

Kim's IWC Schaffhausen Portofino appeared to have been fastened tighter around his wrist in the latest photos released by state media, according to an analysis by NK News.

The Seoul-based news site compared close-ups of the watch from past months to support observations that 37-year-old maverick leader had slimmed down, Bllomberg has reported.

Kim's weight has long been a point of speculation. South Korean agencies told lawmakers in November that Kim weighed an estimated 140 kilograms and had gained some 50 kilos since coming to power in 2011.
