This pandal in Thane's Ulhasnagar is made of peanut shells. They aim to celebrate Durga Puja in an eco-friendly manner. Not only peanut shells, even cotton cloth and bamboos have been used to create the grand pandal by the Maa Shakti Seva Sanstha. 1.2 million peanut shells that would've been thrown away, have been used. It took 6 months and 20 craftsmen for the creation.
