The Chinese city of Wuhan, once the global epicentre of the coronavirus pandemic, hosted crowds of thousands of people over the weekend for Wuhan Strawberry Music Festival.

Amid the warm environmental conditions, scores of people jumped, danced and sang along, without major Covid restrictions or face masks.

The festival made its return to Wuhan after it was forced to virtual last year due to coronavirus restrictions.

The two-day event coincided with the national Labor Day holiday and attracted entertainers from around the country.
