Tokyo Paralympics: PM Modi to interact with athletes on August 17

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the athletes who are set to participate in the upcoming Tokyo Paralympics on the 17th of August via a virtual conference. India is sending a record number of 54 participants to Tokyo for the Paralympics event which will take place from August 24th to September 5th. India will commence its campaign on August 27th with the men's and women's archery events. 

Earlier, Sports minister Anurag Thakur announced that the medal winners at Tokyo Paralympics will be rewarded at this year's National Sports Awards.
