74 Covid-19 patients have died at the Goa Medical College and Hospital due to oxygen supply shortage in a span of four days. A day after the High Court directed the Goa government to ensure there were no more deaths due to oxygen issues, at least 13 more patients died as tragedy struck the GMCH again in the early hours of Friday. With 74 people dead so far due to a dip in oxygen levels at GMCH in Goa in four days, state authorities continue to blame “logistical issues” for the fatalities. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who visited the hospital said the gap between the "availability of medical oxygen and its supply might have caused some issues". He has also sought for a probe by the High Court.
