TVS iQube electric launched in Pune

TVS Motor Company has introduced the iQube electric scooter in Pune, priced at ₹ 1.11 lakh (on-road). The all-new offering arrives in Pune over a year after sales began in Bengaluru last year followed by Delhi. Pune is only the third city in India that gets the iQube and the company has planned at least 20 more cities in the coming months. The TVS iQube competes against the Bajaj Chetak and the Ather 450X in the segment and is completely developed in-house. The electric scooter draws power from the 4.4 kW motor that develops 140 Nm of peak torque. The top speed is rated at 78 kmph while promising a range of 75 km on a single charge. The iQube competes with the Bajaj Chetak and the Ather 450X in the segment. Bookings are now open for a token amount of Rs. 5,000.
