Despite India recoding lower number of Covid-19 case, the UAE has extended the suspension of flights from India till July 21.

The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority on Sunday said flights from India, Pakistan, Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic Of Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, and South Africa will remain suspended due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic

Under the new changes, entry of UAE citizens from India and South Africa will be allowed only if the individual is fully vaccinated with a UAE-approved shot.

A national ban on entry from India began in April when the country was reeling under a severe second wave of coronavirus pandemic.
