UP tightens noose on night curfew, hooters to be sounded as warnings

Literally sounding the alarm for covid protocols hooters will be sounded across markets in Uttar Pradesh to enforce night curfew for traders. 

The police should issue a warning ahead of time through hooters, so that the shops are closed by 10 pm. People should not roam on the streets unnecessarily,” asserted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while issuing directives to senior officials in a high-level Covid-19 review meeting on Thursday.

As many as 19 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the state in the past 24 hours while no cases were reported in 60 districts of the state, said UP Govt officials.
