Tensed situation at Changchoki village in Kampur under Nagaon District after agitated locals blocked three Forest vehicles for allegedly failing to mitigate Man-Elephant conflict in the region since last couple of months. Both Kampur Ranger and Nagaon Forest Division Officials pleaded guilty and begged before the public to remove the road blockade. It may be mentioned that on Tuesday night, a herd of 100 plus elephants barged into the village and went on a rampage, thus, destroying at least three houses in the evening hours.
