Video: Scrap dealer forced to chant 'Jai Shri Ram' in Ujjain, 2 held

In a disturbing incident, a scrap dealer from a minority community was forced to chant 'Jai Shri Ram' in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district.

The incident happened in Jharda village of Mahidpur Tehsil. In the video that has now gone viral on social media two men can be seen forcing the scrap dealer to say 'Jai Shree Ram'. The men also asked the scrap dealer what is the problem when he seemed hesitant to chant the slogan.

The two threw away the dealer’s scrap items and threatened the dealer to not return to the village. After much compulsion by both men, he ultimately said 'Jai Shree Ram' and only then was he allowed to go.

The Ujjain Police has arrested two men and registered the case. Ujjain SP Satyendra Kumar Shukla said if any person tries to disturb communal harmony, strict action will be taken against them by the police
