Actor Vijayakanth's DMDK has walked out of the AIADMK-BJP alliance in Tamil Nadu ahead of the Assembly polls. The DMDK has deserted the alliance reportedly after a discord over seat sharing. After three rounds of discussions, the AIADMK "refused to allot the numbers that were sought," the DMDK said. In the past few weeks, the party had been hinting that they are willing to fight the assembly elections on all 234 seats alone if their demands aren’t met.
