Viral: Mizoram minister mops floor at a hospital, netizens applaud

A Mizoram minister took people by surprise after he mopped the floor of a hospital ward in his state.

A photo R Lalzirliana, who had tested positive for Covid-19, mopping the floor at Zoram Medical College hospital has gone viral.

The 71-year-old minister, who was admitted in the hospital after his oxygen levels started to drop, said he had no intention of embarrassing the hospital staff and wanted to lead by setting an example.

Lalzirliana said he was used to mopping as it was part of everyday household chores he did and this was not a big deal.

Netizens praised and applauded him, hoping other VIPs got inspired by him.
