Hardik Patel has slammed the Gujarat Congress for not "utilising him enough" in the ongoing civic polls. In an interview with The Indian Express, the young leader who led the Patel agitation in 2015 and joined the Congress two years ago, accused the state Congress leaders of "wanting to pull him down". He further added that the state unit has not organised a single election programme for him and that he is campaigning on his own. The Congress drew a blank in the recent Surat civic polls where the Aam Aadmi Party emerged as the opposition to the ruling BJP. Hardik said that he would have ensured better results if the state Congress had involved him more.
