After Barcelona's 2-1 loss to Real Madrid, scenes outside Camp Nou turned ugly, as Barca manager Ronald Koeman was attacked. People surrounded Koeman's car as he tried to exit the grounds and the video of the attack went viral on social media.
FC Barcelona publicly condemned the 'violent and disdainful acts' and promised that the Club will take security and disciplinary measures so that such unfortunate events do not happen again.
The act was carried out by angry Barcelona fans who are unhappy with their side performing poorly under Koeman's watch. Apart from being in mid table in La Liga, Barcelona have suffered a pair of defeats in their Champions League group stage campaign.
