Watch: ITBP soldiers unfurl flag on icy heights of Ladakh

ITBP jawans unfurled the national flag at 17,000 feet in -25 degrees at the Ladakh on the occasion of the 72nd Republic Day. Visuals showed ITBP soldiers marching with the flag on a frozen lake and raising slogans on the icy heights on the border outpost. Ladakh has been at the centre of tensions with China along the LAC since June last year when 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a deadly clash with the Chinese soldiers as the PLA tried to intrude into the Indian territory.
