As Indian troops prepare for a long haul and a tough winter on the LAC in Ladakh amid tensions with China, a C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force on Saturday landed at the Leh airbase with supplies for troops deployed in forward areas. News agency ANI shared the video of the massive aircraft landing at the airstrip. The jumbo aircraft can carry large combat equipment, troops and humanitarian aid across long distances. According to news agency PTI, the Army has rushed tanks, heavy weaponry, ammunition, fuel, food and essential winter supplies to high-altitude areas in eastern Ladakh.
