Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday became emotional in Parliament during a farewell to Congress veteran Ghulam Nabi Azad in the Rajya Sabha. Calling Azad "a true friend", the PM said that "one must learn how to handle post and power" from the outgoing leader of opposition in the Upper House.
This comes a day after he praised Azad for his words on Jammu and Kashmir and local polls conducted recently.
"The person who will replace Ghulam Nabi Azad as leader of opposition will have difficulty matching his work because he was not only concerned about his party but also about the country and the House," the PM said.
