Water entered Covid-19 ward of a top district hospital in Bihar following heavy rainfall in the state.

News agency ANI released footage of the inundated Covid-19 ward at Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital, which is a key health facility in the region.

Visuals from the institution show at least ankle-deep levels of storm water in passageways and wards full of patients. Stray dogs, too, were seen loitering in the lobbies of the medical facility.

The report said similar condition were of some other medical facilities. NDTV reported that medicines could reportedly be seen floating in Patna's Jai Prabha Hospital as rainwater entered its premises.
