In a historic moment, an Indian film has made it to the main competition at Cannes. The film is in contention for a Palme d'Or.

Directed by Karan Kandhari, the film starring Radhika Apte has been selected under the 'Director's Fortnight' category.

Starring Suhana Goswami, the film is selected in the 'Un Certain Regard' category. 

In Retreat

Maisam Ali’s feature debut has been selected for the Cannes Film Festival’s sidebar programme, ACID Cannes.

The Shameless 

The film has been made by Bulgarian director but has been shot in India. It has been selected in the 'Un Certain Regard' category. 

Manthan 

The 1976 Shyam Benegal directorial's restocked version will premiere at the upcoming edition of the film festival.
