2023 witnessed series of terror attacks in Jammu, here's a list

According to officials, Rajouri, Poonch and Reasi districts in J&K's Jammu region witnessed a series of attacks.

Dec 21: Poonch ambush

5 soldiers were killed and 3 injured when armed terrorists ambushed 2 Army vehicles in Poonch district.

Dharmsal encounter in November

In Nov, major gunfight took place in Dharmsal belt of Bajimaal forest area that left 5 Army personnel & 10 civilians dead. The attack was led by LeT.

Anti-terrorist op in Chamrer forest in May

In May, 5 Army personnel were killed & a major-rank officer was injured in Chamrer forest during an anti-terrorist operation.

April 20: Army vehicle ambushed

On April 20, an attack took place on the boundary of Rajouri & Poonch districts, where 5 soldiers were killed in an ambush on an Army vehicle.
