Who's assured of a spot?

India, SA, NZ and AUS - all look comfortable right now. Afghanistan too should make it. Thankfully for Pakistan, they are the hosts

Who could be in trouble?

Sri Lanka, England, Netherlands and Bangladesh - Only two among these four can make it to the tournament in Pakistan.

Sri Lanka

The Islanders have 4 points so far. They need to win at least two of their matches against IND, BAN and NZ to be assured of a spot.

England

Finishing in the Top 8 (including PAK) will be a challenge for the Three Lions as they sit rock bottom in the points table having won just 1 game

Can Buttler's men still make it?

For England to make it, they would have to win at least 2 of their 3 remaining matches (AUS, NED & PAK) and hope that other results go in their favour

The Dutch right in it!

Netherlands vs England could well be a knockout for a CT spot. However, they have crucial games against AFG and IND on either side of the ENG contest

What about Bangladesh?

The Tigers are currently above England on NRR but they have 3 difficult games against PAK, SL and AUS. They need to win 2 of those at least
