WhatsApp has said that users who don't agree to the messaging services new terms after May 15, won't be able to read or send messages. Users will still be able to receive calls and notifications, but with WhatsApp's policy of deleting accounts that have been inactive for 120 days, users may see their accounts deleted after a while. It's worth noting that while WhatsApp has been sharing user metadata with Facebook for years, the new terms include the sharing of payment and transaction data with the parent-company.
