Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has started his three-month-long off-season training at Chula Vista Elite Training Centre in California. Neeraj was on a break after winning India's only individual gold in athletics at Tokyo Olympics.
With off-season training, he would begin his preparations for next year's Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and World Athletics Championships.

In an Instagram post, Neeraj said that it is a time to put the past to rest and focus on the future. He further added that he is looking forward to restarting the process towards getting better.
According to various media reports, Neeraj's coach Klais Bartonietz and physio Ishaan Marwaha have also accompanied him to the USA.
Chula Vista Centre is spread across 155 acres which has sports venues and support for over a dozen Olympic and Paralympic sports. It is located in the San Diego, California.
