Sameer Wankhede, the Naroctics Control Bureau officer leading the investigation against Aryan Khan in Mumbai's drug bust case, has been accused of corruption, bribery, creating fake cases and witnesses.

Wankhede is a 2008-batch IRS officer

He has served with the NIA, DRI, Air Intelligence Unit and Customs

2011: As Customs officer he ensured the World Cup trophy was released only after duty was paid

2011: Wankhede stopped Shah Rukh Khan at the Customs, fined him 1.5 lakh for excess baggage

During his stint with NIA, Wankhede handled high-profile terrorism cases
