A global team of researchers on Thursday landed in Chinese city of Wuhan where the coronavirus pandemic was first detected to conduct a politically sensitive investigation into its origins. The 10-member team sent to Wuhan by the WHO was approved by the Chinese government after months of diplomatic wrangling. The WHO team includes virus and other experts from the United States, Australia, Germany, Japan, Britain, Russia, the Netherlands, Qatar and Vietnam. The team has been quarantined for 2 weeks and will start working with Chinese experts via video conference.
