Charlie Hebdo, the French satirical weekly, has republished cartoons of Prophet Mohammad for which it was attacked in 2015 to mark the beginning of the trial of the attackers. In an editorial published along with the republished cartoons, the editor of Charlie Hebdo said they will never lie down or give up.  France's most celebrated cartoonists were among the 12 people who died on January 7, 2015 when brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi went on a rampage at the paper's offices in Paris. The two were killed during police action but 14 alleged accomplices are now on trial. The cover of the latest issue shows a dozen cartoons first published by the Danish daily Jyllands-Posten in 2005 and then reprinted by Charlie Hebdo in 2006. The attack on the paper's offices caused n massive outrage and led to the #JeSuisCharlie campaign on social media.
