'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' has found its Adam Warlock. Actor Will Poulter will play the classic Marvel character in the upcoming Marvel Studios sequel.
Guardians of the Galaxy lead characters Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Karen Gillan are returning with the film.

James Gunn is writing and directing the project. In a tweet, he confirmed the casting saying, "Welcome to the Guardians family, Will Poulter. He’s an amazing actor and wonderful guy"
Like with any Marvel film, details behind the plot are being kept under lock and key. Production is expected to start in November. The film is looking at a release date of May 3, 2023.
A post-credits scene in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 teased Warlock’s addition to the MCU. Best known for roles in The Revenant and Detroit, Poulter has been busy on the TV front, most recently appearing in the acclaimed Amazon miniseries The Underground Railroad.
