Day after setting off smoke bombs and shooting 10 passengers in a packed Brooklyn subway train, a 62-year old male, initially identified as a 'Person of Interest' has been arrested and charged with a federal terrorism offense.

Reports said Frank R. James was taken into custody in Manhattan's East Village neighborhood.
Ten people were injured by gunfire and an additional 13 were either injured as they rushed to get out of the train station or suffered smoke inhalation. None of the injuries were life threatening.
The gunman was wearing a gas mask and then opened a gas canister inside a subway carriage before open firing at the people. The police are yet to determine the suspect’s motive.
