Croatian authorities on March 19 exploded a Nazi ship mine which was buried in the seabed near a key port.
According to media reports, the explosion took place at the Adriatic Sea port where the mine was first discovered in June 2022.
Around 500 locals staying in the vicinity were evacuated ahead of the operation. Sea traffic was diverted and the area was secured during the removal of 690 kg explosives, as per reports.
The video of the massive explosion shows water splashing up in the air forming a gigantic fountain.
