In an incident that seems almost fictional, an author was found guilty of killing her husband.
While the story maybe as old as time itself, here's the twist in the tale: the woman accused, a few years ago, had written an article titled 'How to kill your husband'.
Self-published author, Nancy Crampton Brophy, has now been convicted of fatally shooting her husband, who was a chef by profession.

Daniel's body was discovered at the Oregon Culinary Institute with two gun shots to his back which had pierced his heart and killed him instantly.
Brophy in her essay had detailed her knowledge of police procedure and the many mediums of committing murder.
The police charged her after finding a van similar to Brophy's near the murder site and after finding that the accused had purchased a gun from a ghost weapons site.
