As speculation grows over flu outbreak in Kremlin, multiple reports claim that Russian President Vladimir Putin will be seeking refuge in bunkers to protect himself.

A report by The Mirror suggests that Putin is likely to be isolated in a bunker as many officials of the Russian government are down with flu.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reportedly also confirmed about the flu outbreak to a European news outlet.

The development comes amid reports that the Russian President is facing health issues. He is reportedly dealing with serious health concerns including possibility of cancer and schizoaffective disorder.

His annual 'set-piece' press briefing has already been cancelled. This was the first time in 10 years that Putin cancelled his year-end address to the public.
