Thousands of protesters took to the streets across the Middle East following the strike on Al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital in Gaza which left hundreds of people dead.
People took to the streets in the West Bank, Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon, Iran and Iraq. In Jordan’s capital Amman, protesters tried to storm the Israeli embassy.
In Tehran, hundreds of protesters gathered outside the British and French embassies and shouted “Death to France and England”. They also threw eggs at the walls of the French embassy compound.
Meanwhile, Israel and Palestine blamed each other for the strike. While Palestine said that it was an airstrike by Israel, the latter said the blast was caused by a misfired rocket by "terrorists in Gaza".
