Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant on November 13 claimed that Hamas has lost control of the Gaza Strip.
He said that the militants are fleeing southward while civilians are looting Hamas bases. He added that the civilians don't have faith in the government anymore.
Gallant, however, did not provide any evidence to support his assertions.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue ground assault in the Gaza Strip, with casualties mounting. More than 11,000 Palestinians have reportedly been killed so far.
The conflict has been ongoing since Hamas' October 7 attack on Israel. About 1,400 Israelis are said to have been killed.
