The number of US citizens confirmed to have been killed in the Israel-Hamas war has risen to 22, the State Department said on October 11.
The United States confirmed the death of 14 nationals a day earlier.
"We have to be crystal clear. There is no justification for terrorism," President Joe Biden told reporters. "The United States has Israel's back and we're going to be working on this through the day and beyond."
Meanwhile, in a show of solidarity, US State Secretary Antony Blinken is set to visit Israel and Jordan between 11-13 October, the US embassy in Israel said.
During his visit, Blinken is likely to meet top officials of Israel.
