Hezbollah unleashes attack on Israel with newly revealed Fadi-6. Hezbollah attacked Israel's Tel Nof Airbase with a Fadi Surface missile. Nof base is located around 145 kilometers from Lebanese border.
The base houses F-15 aircraft, drones and specialized electronic warfare units. The missile was put on operational use on November 12: Hezbollah.
Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem had said they will hit deep inside Israel. Hezbollah launched many new long-range missiles since Qassem took over.
Fadi-6 is a precision tactical surface-to-surface missile. The missile has diameter of 302 mm and can carry 140 kg of warhead. The total weight of Fadi-6 is estimated around 650 kg.
The missile can hit targets up to 225 kilometers. Fadi-6 can be fired from static or mobile platforms. The missile uses composite solid fuel to operate. Fadi-6 is a guided missile, has a small margin of error.
