After much chaos, the former Pakistan Prime Minister left the Islamabad High Court, with reports from Pakistan saying that the former prime minister left in the Islamabad deputy inspector general’s security vehicle along with state security.
A Dawn report said that firing was heard thrice within a span of 30 minutes as Imran remained inside the court premises. The report said police snipers were posted at the buildings surrounding the high court.
As the police did not allow Imran to leave the high court amid intermitting firing, the PTI chief released a video, claiming that he had been kidnapped and was not allowed to go.
In the video message, Imran said the ruling coalition had no regard for the law.
