As the Israel-Hamas conflict and the intense war entered its third day, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ordered a “complete siege” of Gaza, AP reported.

The minister added that electricity and entry of food and fuel would be blocked.

The Israeli military has been bombing Gaza after it launched a massive counter-attack operation in response to Hamas' surprise assault on Israel.

Notably, Israel and Egypt have already imposed various levels of blockade on Gaza since Hamas seized power from rival Palestinian forces in 2007.

Meanwhile, the chief military spokesman, Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari told reporters that Israel has taken 'full control' of attacked areas in Southern Israel.
