A Japanese restaurant named Shachihoko-ya in Nagoya garnered massive popularity in the recent past for its peculiar service. In their service, they used to offer face slaps before meals for 300 Japanese Yen which is approximately ₹170.
However, this peculiar service known as the 'Nagoya Lady's Slap' has now been discontinued. The restaurant shared a post in which they announced the discontinuation of their popular face-slapping service after old videos started doing rounds on the internet.
The restaurant even urged customers to not visit the eatery with the expectation of experiencing the slap service.
